Yes to aid, no to distribution

Myanmar junta made it clear on Friday that it will not allow any foreign aid team to distribute the aid in cyclone-hit areas in the country after a Qatari rescue team was sent back.

Foreign diplomats and officials expressed their anger and frustration over the slow response from the military regime in Burma. Australian PM has urged China and other neighboring countries to put more pressure on Myanmar where experts have put the death toll as high as 100,000 after the Cyclone Nargis swept through the country on last Saturday.
