Social Security? - Investing? - Privatization?

Most of the opponents (FOX and CNBC) of the current Social Security System, seem to me, to want Social Security monies to be invested in the Stock Market. Also, they seem to want the monies to be invested by stock brokers in the private sector; I will mention fees later. . .
