Pocatello – This spring, the Idaho State University College of Technology general education department will be conducting a transitions course.
The course is designed to assist
GED graduates and community members, with high school diplomas and who have been out of the educational system for a while, to get into college. The class is offered as a one-credit workshop that will address the following topics: completing the steps in applying to college; completing financial aid applications; exploring career options; tips on being a successful student; and connecting to campus and community resources.
The course will be offered twice: on Tuesdays between April 3 and April 24 and again on Wednesdays from May 30 to June 20. Classes will run from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost is $50.
