Read Across America Events

Shelley Allen Pocatello-Chubbuck School District Community Relations & Communications officer announces there will be Read Across America events at Gate City and Edahow Elementary Schools Thursday March 1, 2007.

Gate City Elementary student council will be reading Dr. Seuss stories to the students in each class room. There will be some younger students reading to the older students.

At Edahow Elementary there will be a Dr. Seuss Family Reading Night beginning at 6:00 P.M. Second grade students will sing songs and read poetry in celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday witch is March 2. There will be games and activities based on Dr. Seuss’s books. The Parent Teachers Association will serve green eggs and ham. Students will be given free books and pencils.
