Pocatello/Chubbuck School District awarded Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting

The Government Finance Officers Association has awarded Bart J. Reed, Business Operations Director for the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District and a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by an organization and its management.

To receive this award, a comprehensive annual financial report is submitted by Mr. Reed for the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District. The report is judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program and demonstrates a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story to the public.

This is the 16th consecutive year the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District has received this award. Bart Reed said, “We believe the patrons of our community are entitled to the best reporting and disclosure of use of public educational funds this district can provide. We are appreciative of the continued support in all our educational endeavors for the students of the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District.”
