POCATELLO/CHUBBUCK SCHOOL DISTRICT FILLS ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS
The Pocatello/Chubbuck School District is pleased to announce the selection of two principals, a curriculum coordinator, and a professional/technical program coordinator to fill vacancies for the upcoming school year.
Mrs. Kathy Luras, a reading and language arts teacher consultant, has accepted the position of curriculum coordinator. Mrs. Luras has a Masters Degree in Education Administration and has been with the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District since 1990.
Mr. James McCoy has been selected as the Century High School principal. Mr. McCoy comes to Century from Burley, Idaho where he was a principal. He has a Doctorate in Education and served most of his career in secondary administration in Utah.
Mrs. Amy Brinkerhoff, a science teacher at Highland High School, will become the principal at Greenacres Elementary School. Mrs. Brinkerhoff has a Masters Degree in Education Administration and has taught in the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District for seven years.
Ms. Anne Lopiccalo, the District’s Experience Based Career Education teacher, was chosen to fill the Professional Technical Education Coordinator position. Ms. Lopiccalo has a Masters Degree in Education Administration and is certified as an Advanced Occupational Specialist with endorsement for Professional Technical Education Administration. She has been with the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District since 1977.
The District feels fortunate to have filled these key positions with such quality individuals and welcomes them to their new positions.
