New Program for Parents to be Demonstrated at high school Parent-Teacher Conferences

All high schools in the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District are encouraging all of their parents to attend Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 11th and Friday, October 12th. The conferences are especially important this year because school staff will be demonstrating the school district’s new “In Touch” software program for student information. With this new software program, parents can access important student academic and attendance information on a daily basis right from home or anywhere they have access to the Internet. It is very important that all parents get this information.

Parents are encouraged to review their student’s report card that will be brought home on October 9th and call the school to make conference appointments with specific teachers.

Conference times can be scheduled as follows:

Century High School and New Horizons High School conference times can be scheduled for Thursday, October 11th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and on Friday, October 12th from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Call the high schools, as soon as possible. To schedule appointments: Century High School at 478-6863 or New Horizons Highs School at 232-7119.

Highland and Pocatello High School conference times can be scheduled for Thursday, October 11th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. On Friday, October 12th parents can either schedule appointments of just drop in. Call the high schools to schedule appointments: Highland at 237-1300, Pocatello at 233-2056 and New Horizons at 232-7119.
