Pocatello-Chubbuck Schools Will Have Celebrity Principals

To celebrate American Education Week School District 25 has invited community and business leaders to be a principal for a day at local schools.

On November 15 Loren Azzola with Mutual Insurance and the Greater Pocatello Chamber of Commerce President will be celebrity principal at Century High School. Tim Forhan, AMI Semiconductor will be at Pocatello High School. Brenda Baumgartner, KPVI News Channel 6 will be at New Horizons High School. Representative Donna Boe, Idaho Legislature will be at Franklin Middle School. Brad Huerta from Portneuf Medical Center will be at Hawthorne Middle School. Margaret Ganyo, United Way Executive Director will be at the Lincoln Early Learning Center. Kip Wilkins, Best Western Cotton Tree Inn will be at Edahow Elementary. Chubbuck Mayor Steve England will be the principal at Ellis Elementary. Casey Santee, Idaho State Journal will be at Indian Hills Elementary. Ted Messmore with TeJac Advertising will be at Jefferson Elementary. Margie Woolf from Alliance Title will be at Lewis & Clark Elementary. Kristi Samuelson and Eric McCabe with the Simplot Education Council will be at Syringa Elementary. Idaho State Senator Diane Bilyeu will be principal at Tyhee Elementary. Jedd Thomas from D.L. Evans Bank will be at Washington Elementary and Cynthia Thomas with Citizens Community Bank will be principal at Wilcox Elementary.

On November 16 Robert Taylor with the Idaho State University Federal Credit Union will be celebrity principal at Highland High School. Larry Fisher, Black Swan Inn will be at Gate City Elementary. Jerry Myers, Myers & Anderson Architects will be at Green Acres Elementary. Maggie Calica with the Idaho Education Association was principal at Irving Middle School on November 12.
