Warning to Young People

Love is patient, Love is kind, Love envies not, Love praises, Love is not prideful, Love does not boast, Love does not behave itself unseemly, or keep a record of wrongs. Love fulfills real needs and is not easily provoked. Love thins no evil. Love does not seek its own or ownership. Love sorrows at sin and rejoices with the Truth. Love finds its deepest hoys in quiet moments. Love promotes peace and order, tranquility and stability.

On the other hand, Passion is impatient, unkind, sorely envies, is jealous, criticizes, behaves arrogantly and indecently, holds grudges, demands ownership, is easily provoked, and thinks the same evil of others which it does. Passion must have disruption, noise, the hunt and the prey. Passion promotes discontent and disorder. Passion rejoices at sin and is angered by the Truth. It is always seeking its own excitement. Passion does not bear, believe, endure or hope for anything but the pleasure of the moment. Passion ALWAYS fails.

Unless a person truly possesses the character of real love, what meaning can the words “I Love You” really have? Look first and always at the character of the beloved, and especially at the influence that particular beloved has on YOUR character.

CHOOSE WISELY, LIFE IS LONG.
