DIESEL ENGINE REPAIR. This position REQUIRES FOUR YEARS OF EXPERIENCE (within the last 10 years) diagnosing and repairing DIESEL engines. Gasoline engine experience will NOT substitute.

This position requires that the incumbent possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with air brake endorsement, or be willing to obtain one within 60 days of hire date.

Incumbents must pass a pre-employment controlled substance screening test. Once a CDL is obtained, the employee is required to participate in the Department’s drug/alcohol testing program and comply with all of its provisions. Failure to satisfy any of these requirements will result in a failure to complete the probationary period and termination from employment.
