Town Hall Meeting On Underage Drinking Scheduled

Event to be Held at Irving Middle School May 10, 2008

The Pocatello Police Department is hosting a Town Hall Meeting this Saturday, May 10, 2008 to discuss underage drinking and teen substance abuse. The meeting will be held at Irving Middle School from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Pocatello is joining with communities all cross the nation to bring public awareness to these two important issues. Guest speakers will provide valuable information on recognizing alcohol/substance abuse and what community members can do to address this growing problem.

Organizers are also looking for groups of middle school students who would like to perform or display their arts/crafts. Local students are invited to display their art work or perform solo or group music, dance or cheer routines at the town hall meeting. If you or your group would like to perform or display, please call Lewis Andrews at 239-6284 to schedule your performance. All participating performers and artists will receive prizes from area merchants.
