Lawrence Francis Orth

Lawrence Francis Orth, 78, 1321 Eastridge Drive, meet with the love of his life, Lois Ada Orth and his beloved son, Larry Orth Tuesday morning, May 2, 2008, at home with his loving daughter Deanna Orth.

He was born November 1, 1929, in Spokane, Washington, at Sacred Heart Hospital, to Edward and Mary Rauser Orth. He attended schools at Spokane, Washington, graduating from Gonzaga Prep. School, 1949. Lonnie played football for Gonzaga and was on the golf team.

He married Lois Denzer on June 11, 1950.
He enjoyed playing golf with his grandsons, gardening, spending time with his family celebrating birthdays, cooking his famous grilled hamburgers for his family, and watching all kinds of sports.
Lonnie was baptized a Catholic.

He is survived by his three daughters, Jann Thomsen, of Shoshone, ID, Carrie Orth-Wallingford, Deanna Orth and a son Mike Orth, all of Pocatello; five grandchildren: Lawrence Thomsen, of Los Angeles, CA; Matthew Thomsen, Amanda Orth-Gomez, Ben Orth-Gomez, and Mike K. Orth, all of Pocatello.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Cornnelison-Henderson Funeral Chapel, 431 N. 15th Ave, Pocatello, with Rev. Tom Seiberling officiating. The family received friends

Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and will receive friends today, Tuesday from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at the Cornelison-Henderson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Idaho Falls, following services. Online guest book and condolences available at www.cornelisonfh.com
