New Office Hours for the Forest Service/BLM Malad Office

Posted on: September 17, 2007

Malad, ID: The Forest Service/Bureau of Land Management Malad Office will be open to the public on Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office will be closed to the public Monday through Wednesday due to an unstaffed front desk on those days. Other employees can be contacted at the Malad Office during those days and are available through their direct phone lines. Immediate assistance can be provided by contacting the BLM Pocatello Field Office at 208-478-6340 or the Westside Ranger District Office in Pocatello at 208-236-7500.

The Malad Office offers public assistance in many areas, including the sale of public land maps, firewood permits, Christmas tree tag sales during the wintertime, assistance with grazing allotments for permittees and general information on BLM and Forest Service lands for Eastern Idaho.

The agencies apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but appreciate the public’s cooperation. If you need assistance or have questions, please call the BLM Pocatello Field Office at 208-478-6340 or the Westside Ranger District Office in Pocatello at 208-236-7500.
