Joint Forest Service/BLM Offices Closed for the Holidays

Posted on: December 08, 2007

Southeast Idaho: The joint Forest Service/Bureau of Land Management local offices will be closed to the public on Monday and Tuesday, December 24 and 25 and the following Tuesday, January 1 in recognition of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Outside of these three holidays, FS/BLM offices will be open and staff will be operating during regular business hours, except for the joint Malad Office, which will continue to be open to the public only on Thursdays and Fridays, 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Joint office locations can be found in Salmon, Idaho Falls, Pocatello and Malad. The Malad Office has been and will continue to be closed to the public on Monday through Wednesday due to inadequate front desk staffing. To reach Malad area employees on these three days of the week, you may contact the BLM Pocatello Field Office at 208-478-6340 or the Westside Ranger District Office in Pocatello at 208-236-7500.
