Bear Lake- poor/fair; lake trout, cutthroat; ice completely off, could fish from bank or boat; 2-trout limit (only cutthroat with clipped fin may be kept) (Check regulations for other special rules)
Little Valley Reservoir- poor; fish die-off last summer-(consider unfishable)
Montpelier Reservoir- consider poor due to mostly ice over; hatchery rainbow, kokanee; consider ice unsafe, small section of upper end of reservoir open water allowing small area for bank fishing. (Montpelier Creek above and below closed until general opener)
Dingle Pond- poor; hatchery rainbow; iced over-consider unsafe (consider unfishable due to ice)
Montpelier Rearing Pond- good, hatchery rainbow, bank fishing, open water (2 FISH POSSESSION LIMIT-may not be in possession of more than 2 fish while fishing at the pond)
Daniels Reservoir – Fishing is fair to good with open water conditions. Anglers are picking up nice rainbow trout from the shoreline (southern end) using a variety of flies and lures. In addition, anglers in float tubes and boats have been doing ok as well. Please keep in mind the trophy regulations which allow anglers to fish with artificial flies and lures only (barbless hooks). Rainbow trout must be at least 20 inches in length to keep, and the daily possession limit is two fish per person.
Hawkins Reservoir – Fishing is fair with open water conditions. Anglers are starting to pick up nice rainbow trout from the shoreline (northern end) using a variety of baits and lures. In addition, I have seen the number of float tubes and boats being used increase on the reservoir in the last week.
Wiregrass Reservoir – Fishing is most likely poor with open water conditions. I have not checked any anglers lately and I suspect the fishing will be slow until we stock it with hatchery rainbow trout here in the next few weeks or so.
Blackfoot Reservoir- Is unfishable and unsafe due to ice conditions. Possibly next week it can be fished from the bank
Chesterfield- Chesterfield fishing this last weekend was fair. A few anglers were out with most people fishing from the bank. Water temps are still in the mid 30’s and the fish are pretty lethargic. Ice is completely off of the Reservoir and a few boats were out trolling for trout.
Twenty four mile- 24-mile is still covered in ice. No fishing report as of now. The outlet creek, 24-mile creek, is still closed till Memorial Day weekend. The road to the reservoir is open to full-sized vehicle traffic as of the 1st of April.
Alexander Reservoir- Ice is completely off the reservoir. Water is very low at the east end. The reservoir is pretty muddy from runoff and ice melt.
AF Reservoir-
Fishing is Poor. People are primarily fishing for trout, both from boats and bank.

Snake River from Eagle Rock Downstream-
