The Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot is never short on fun, and this year it won’t be short on fish either.
This year, the Idaho Department of Fish and Game will be returning home to its booth located inside the Agriculture Building at the fairgrounds, and the fish are coming back, too!!
Fish and Game’s theme for the booth this year is “Something Fishy Is Goin’ On”, and you can be sure there will be lots of fun displays and great information to get people of all ages “hooked” on one of Idaho’s most wonderful resources—its fisheries.
Stop by and get a nose-to nose view of live fish as well as to get a gander at mounts of trophy fish caught from around the region. You can also learn about Fish and Game’s rod loaner program and Trout in the Classroom activities and curriculum for teachers. And, you can discover more about Idaho’s fish species and their habitats. There is no limit to the fun you can catch at the Fish and Game booth this year!
Fish and Game’s booth will be open from Saturday, September 1st through Saturday, September 8th, from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm.
