POCATELLO— The 2008 hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses for Idaho residents go on sale this Saturday, December 1st, at 12:01 a.m. MST. Also for sale at that time are 2008 non-resident licenses and tags.
To accommodate those interested in purchasing their resident licenses or non-resident licenses and tags, the southeast regional office of the Idaho Department of Fish and Game will be open Saturday, December 1st, from 9:00 am until noon. The southeast regional office is located at 1345 Barton Road in Pocatello.
In addition, resident licenses and non-resident tags can be purchased at any license vendor or by credit card by calling 1-800-554-8685. Purchases can also be made by visiting Fish and Game’s website at fishandgame.idaho.gov.
Nonresidents are limited to 10 percent of big game tags, and tags are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees will remain unchanged for next year.
Big game hunters can find more information on the sale and purchase of tags for both resident and nonresidents by reviewing pages 5-10 of the 2007 Idaho Big Game Season Rules Booklet.
