  • Bowtech’s 2007 Guardian Compound Bow -November 27, 07

This bow is an absolute joy to shoot. I don’t believe I’ve ever shot a bow that was quieter or has less apparent recoil. With a brace height of a little over 7”, it’s also a fairly forgiving bow. At a retail price of slightly over a thousand dollars as a ready to hunt package, its not inexpensive – but then, quality rarely is.

  • Wringing Out ‘The Truth’ -November 27, 07 We recently had the opportunity to shoot Bear Archery’s ‘The Truth’ bow extensively. To put it simply, I loved this bow. At 4.2 pounds, it not the lightest bow on the market, but it’s also not the heaviest – and it balances well.
  • Product Review Oct 15th -October 25, 07

The Emmrod fishing system is a real life saver for those anglers looking to fish while on the road or in the backcountry.

  • Cocoons Live Up to Promises -September 06, 07

My biggest concern after receiving the Cocoons Eyewear was that it may be too heavy to be comfortable. Cocoons met the challenge – the combination of lightweight yet durable attractive materials and the adjustable Flex2Fit temples give a comfortable fit that doesn’t add weight to your prescription glasses.
