MEETING SET TO REVIEW DRAFT OF GOLF COURSE MASTER PLANS

Posted on: July 31, 2006

Wednesday, August 2, 2006

Golfers are invited to a public meeting on Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 911 North 7th Avenue. The purpose of the meeting is to review the preliminary draft master plans for Highland and Riverside Golf Courses.

After completing an initial site visit and receiving input from golfers through a questionnaire, golf course architect Garrett Gill has developed preliminary plans for recommendations for future improvements to both golf courses. An essential component of the planning process is to get input on the plans from the local golfing community before the final master plans are completed. All golfers interested in future renovations at the public golf courses are encouraged to attend.

For additional information, contact the Parks & Recreation office at 232-3901.
