"Shake the Nation" Conference This Friday and Saturday

    Posted on: May 14, 2008

A roster of eight spiritual leaders, featuring keynote speaker and former presidential candidate Alan Keyes, will be in the Treasure Valley this weekend for a “Shake the Nation” conference, designed to educate and mobilize the faith community to become more actively engaged in protecting and reclaiming our nation’s Judeo-Christian heritage.

Keyes is one of the most eloquent defenders of the sanctity of life and marriage, and one of the staunchest defenders of the Constitution and the limitations it places on the powers of the federal government.

He has been a highly visible defender of the public posting of the Ten Commandments, and was the most prominent supporter of Judge Roy Moore when the showdown over a Ten Commandments monument in the Alabama Supreme Court building occupied the center of the national stage several years ago.

The conference will take place at two locations, one in Boise and the other in Caldwell, with speakers rotating between the two locations.

For more information, contact organizer Tom Munds at (208) 454-3184 or via email at tom@minutemenunited.org.
