    Kootenai County declares State of Emergency

    Posted on: May 17, 2008

    SPOKANE — In anticipation of flooding throughout the county as soon as this weekend, Kootenai County commissioners have declared a State of Emergency.

    The declaration helps pave the way for finanicial assistance from the state and federal governments for flood operations if the county needs.
