After slandering US troops, Democrat visits Afghanistan for first time
BOISE, ID – The Idaho Republican Party commented today on Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama’s visit to Afghanistan. Sidney Smith, Executive Director of the Idaho Republican Party, noted that this is Obama’s first trip to Afghanistan, even though he chairs a Senate subcommittee tasked with oversight of NATO affairs there.
“Barack Obama accused our men and women in uniform of carelessly ‘air-raiding villages and killing civilians,’” Smith said. “I’m left to wonder how he drew such an ill-informed conclusion. Until now, he’s never even been to Afghanistan. And while he chairs a Senate subcommittee that has oversight of NATO activities in Afghanistan, he hasn’t taken the opportunity to hold any hearings on our efforts there.
“Barack Obama is saying some nasty things about our troops in Afghanistan, but he’s never been there, and he’s never bothered to do anything about it. I guess he prefers to ‘shoot first and ask questions later,’ as the old saying goes.”
Obama chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee’s Subcommittee on European Affairs. Because the mission in Afghanistan includes NATO forces, the subcommittee undoubtedly has oversight responsibility, but has not conducted any hearings on the issue since Obama assumed the chairmanship.

Dear Mr. Sidney Smith, Executive Director of the Idaho Republican Party, you should get your facts straight, stop lying to the American people, stop misrepresenting Mr. Obama’s position, am a republican but am so tied of my fellow republican who go around lying and making stories up, i think for the first time in life i will be VOTING FOR OBAMA, i will be voting for a man not a party because of several issues
1- Obama was rigt about Pakistani, he said if he sees the enemy in Pakistani he will go after them, everybody jumped on him at that time but afwe months later the Bush administration listened to him and they have been going after the bad guys in Pakistani, it is working.
2- He wants the Iraq’s to stand up for themselves for once and defend there country, we are not going to do there dirty job for them for ever, he told them to be ready to stand up for themselves and we can help them do that not keep spoon feeding them li McCain suggested for 100 years ( the best way to help a man is teach them how to fish, not give them fish, Obama wants us to teach the Iraq’s how to fight for there counrty, so we can bring our troops home, while McCain wants as to stay for 100 years)

McCain’s missed vote speaks volumns: HR 6331, a bill to insure older Americans decent, affordable health care was voted upon last week. The vote was 69-30 with only one senator abstaining — John McCain. The same John McCain who can afford decent health care being married to one of the wealthiest women in the U.S.

McCain failed to vote for GI Bill.
McCain did not vote for the recently passed GI Bill. In fact, McCain was not even there to vote yes or no. Isn’t this kind of hypocritical coming from a war hero? (McCain has missed quite a few key votes in the Senate.)
In contrast, Sen. Barack Obama voted yes for the GI Bill and his actions helped it pass. I understand that the GI Bill is the most significant veterans legislation since the World War II GI Bill.
Sen. McCain’s patriotism — what have you done for me lately?

McCain has the worst attendance for voting in the Senate and had even before he was campaigning. Do we need a part-time president? McCain did not even show up for the GI Bill vote – which he opposed!
Yep – seniors should beware of McCain and vets should beware of Republicans wearing lapel flag pins, especially.

A flip-flopping McCain:::FLIP FLOP. FLIP FLOP. FLIP FLOP:::
Here is a short list of changes McCain has made in exactly 2 and I repeat 2 years. His entire platform is a FLOP just ask Romney!!!
1) Torture (Now ok if CIA dies it)
2) Bush Tax Cuts (Now they are great after opposing them )
3) Privatizing Social Security (Now ok)
4) Drilling (Now ok)
5) Indefinite Detention (Now ok)
6) Rev. Falwell (once called him an agent of intolerance, then buddied up with him)
7) Immigration (I was for my own bill before I decided to vote against it)
Over the weekend, McCain gave an interview to the New York Times in which he said that he opposes gay adoption, even if the alternative is leaving a child in an orphanage (or in foster care until they are 18). A few days later, McCains campaign reversed course and tried to do “damage control” by saying the senator doesnt actually believe what he said caring parental figures, even if theyre gay, are better for the child than the alternative.
It seems like every time anymore when McCain gives an interview or makes a statement, his campaign comes along right after to try to “clarify” his statement or positions. They don’t want it to appear that he is somehow “FLIP FLOPPING” now do they.
So just where DOES McCain stand on the issues TODAY? Do you REALLY KNOW? Does HE?
FLIP FLOP

Animal Lovers did you know?
WHEN John Kerry’s dog fighting bill, which would make it a federal crime to even knowingly look at a dog fight, was proposed, BARACK OBAMA was the first senator to CO-SPONSOR it
Nobody else did
I wrote to EVERY SINGLE SENATOR across the nation with snail mail including photos of dogs being tortured and mangled due to dog fighting-DOG FIGHTERS also trap homeless cats (and dogs) or steal them from owners and use them for HIDEOUS dog training bait which the dogs rip them to pieces-alive-afterward-as a reward
TO DATE THERE ARE 10 CO-SPONSORS FOR THIS BILL-ALL OF THEM DEMOCRATES, EXCEPT ONE INDEPENDANT
MCCAIN DOES NOT SUPPORT JOHN KERRY’S DOG FIGHTING BILL.
HE DOES NOT!!! THAT MEANS MCCAIN DOES NOT CARE ABOUT DOG FIGHTING EPIDEMIC IN AMERICA-as he too has the opportunity to co-sponsor this vital bill
MCCAIN HAS AN AKC REGISTERED DOG-WHICH MEANS HE WILL BE PROMOTING PUPPY MILLS (as everybody will wnat to get a dog like his!!), WHICH ARE INSTITUTIONS OF ANIMAL CRUELTY with MASSIVE INBREEDING passing along genetic disorders as well.
Meanwhile 20 to 30 million homeless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens die in pounds every year in the United States, costing each county $500,000.00 to a million dollars to house and kill them due to people patronizing AKC breeds. San Barnidino, CA spent $5 million dollars in one year alone to kill dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.
WHEN YOU BUY A DOG, YOU KILL A DOG-IT WILL GET GASSED TO DEATH OR STABBED IN THE HEART WITH A NEEDLE, A COMMON PRACTICE IN DOG POUNDS
A vote for Obama means you care about animals.
This man won my heart when he co-sponsored John Kerry’s federal dog fighting bill when nobody else would
I do hope Mrs. Obama considers getting a pound dog-they really are very cute and have lots of love to give! And sends a clear message that Mr.
Obama cares about animal welfare!
