Posted on: July 23, 2008

(BOISE) – Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter appointed Angenie McCleary of Ketchum, a social worker at Wood River Middle School, to fill a vacancy on the Blaine County Commission today.

McCleary, 34, was among three nominees submitted to the Governor by the Blaine County Democratic Central Committee to complete the term of Commissioner Sarah Michael, who resigned to travel outside the area.

McCleary, whose term runs until January 2011, is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Social Work. She worked for the Washington State Legislature during graduate school, and founded Youth Adult Konnections – a local healthy youth organization in the Wood River Valley.
